The arrival of the 23-year-old midfielder brings a wealth of experience with her to Roma, including 13 international caps along with 6 goals and individual accolades that includes  2016 Moorpark College MVP honors and  2017 All-Western State Conference North Division first team.

Madarang started her football journey playing for Moorpark College and then later on transferred to NCAA Division II side  Rogers State University. Madarang shared that her playing experience in the United States influenced her career for both club and country. " Playing college soccer in the United States has definitely influenced me to continue playing professionally and for the Philippines."

Eva Madarang is the latest of the growing list of Pinay footballers plying their trade abroad. Asked if she would recommend young girls out there to play professional football overseas, here's what she had to say.

" I 100% would recommend young girls to go and play overseas. You will gain so many amazing experiences that not many people get to experience, and see different parts of the world many people will not see."
